"Free Counseling to Medicare Beneficiaries"
Are you a New Jersey Medicare beneficiary? If so, you may have questions about your health insurance, such as: How much insurance do I really need? What are the "gaps" in Medicare coverage? What do I do if Medicare denies payment for a claim? Whom do I call with claim-related questions? Does Medicare pay for nursing home care? Should I stay in original Medicare or choose a Medicare + Choice plan? SAGE offers free and confidential counseling for New Jersey Medicare beneficiaries with health insurance questions. SAGE is the host agency for the SHIP Program (State Health Insurance Assistance Program), which is administered by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services and the Division of Senior Affairs. To schedule a free, private appointment with a counselor, call 908-273-6999 and leave a message. A counselor will return your call.
