SAGE CHORE SERVICE
SAGE Eldercare’s Chore Service helps older adults with small home repairs so that they can continue to live safely in their own homes.  Using a safety checklist, our staff can identify problem areas and offer solutions.  Seniors can also call to request a specific service.  The Chore Service is unable to handle emergencies or large jobs that require a licensed technician, but we are happy to give referrals. Services include:

• Replacing batteries in smoke detectors
• Removing or installing window air conditioners
• Installing home safety features such as grab bars, wheelchair ramps, and railings on interior
and/or exterior stairs
• Repairing or replacing broken steps and damaged flooring
• Installation of smoke detectors

Seniors age 60+ residing in Union, Morris or Essex counties are eligible.
Nominal fees are charged.

Anyone interested in this service or in volunteering for this service should contact Paul Coviello at 908 598-5501.
